Romans 8:29
The main goal of God for your life in the world is not a comfort, but character development. God gives us time on earth to build and strengthen our character for life in heaven.
Work Holy Spirit who produces Christlike character in you. Your character is basically a set of your habits.We must work together with the work of the Holy Spirit. 3 is our responsibility to become like Christ:• Removing the old ways of acting.• Changing our mindset.• "Wearing" the character of Christ by developing new habits and pious.
God uses His Word, the people, and circumstances to shape us. God's Word provides the truth we need to grow, the people of God to provide the support we need to grow, and circumstances surrounding provide an environment that we need to train the likeness of Christ.Being like Christ is a process long and slow growth. Spiritual maturity is not an instant or automatic; spiritual growth is a progressive and gradual development which will take place throughout the rest of your life.
Point to ponder: I was created to become like Christ.
Verse to memorize: "And because it is coming and the glory of God who is Spirit, then we changed to be like his picture in the greater glory." 2 Corinthians 3:18b
Question for thought: In the area of life where I need to ask the Spirit to convert me to be like Christ today?
